The cornerstone of the gardening plan for my house requires boxwoods, lots of them, count’em 37 Boxwoods to frame my entire garden.
They run from my driveway, around the porch, right to the back fence. Also, in the back, they frame the Hydrangeas. So – Lots of Boxwoods. They look nice enough, and you can see them here:
The landscaper at “Humber nurseries” are of the opinion that they cost $40/Canadian! Which is ridiculous, I don’t care how nicely they take care of them.
Walmart has been selling them at $6/plant, so that’s where I’ve been buying mine. I’ve seen them just as cheap at Canadian Tire and elsewhere. Amazon sells them for $13. You can get them here:
